Well, get out your gloss and polish, dads,
‘Cause neither the Hatch or Jones bun will leave the oven a lad.

They say girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice…
Ha! They haven’t met these two mums.
If these baby girls take after their mothers,
It’ll be more like sun and fun and bottles of rum.

And let’s not forget about the proud pappas.

There is no greater bond than that between father and daughter —
Daddy’s little girl, his precious princess.
If the little ladies take after these guys,
Their party stamina and team loyalty will be no surprise.

So the countdown has begun until April 6,
Until one and all gets to meet these two chicks.
No longer will they be unknowns,

In the Blue & Maize corner (blue & gold, for the non-Michigan aficionado), wearing the very blue and gold trunks that don a large "M," bred from the tree-lined streets of East Lansing and the back roads of Muleshoe, rearing to make an appearance is...BABY HATCH!

And in the Red & Black corner, wearing the rather stylish red and black trunks that howl like dawgs in the wind on a Georgia night, bred from the uptown of Griffin and the way downtown of Jackson, ready to go first round in the draft is...BABY JONES!
